Early German Wheellock Musket (786)
This is a nice 1580’s to 1600’s wheellock musket from the R. Suttons Collection. Large early diamond shaped lock with a sear safety. This is one of the earliest wheellocks we have seen. This has a 46” octagon to round barrel. We have several cocking spanners available in the back of our catalog. The lock plate measures 9 3/4" x 3".
