The lock has very high quality chiseling. The butt plate and trigger guard are engraved.
This is one of the nicest handling Spanish Pieces we have ever encountered. Very high quality. It has a 36" long octagon to round barrel in .62 or .66 caliber (16 or 20 gauge). The original piece has a belt hook which we do offer. The weapon actually feels and points better than most modern shotguns and with the pistol grip type feel in the wrist it would make an outstanding rifle. The lock is marked “Gabiola”.
