Year 9 French Gendarmerie Pistol (816)
This is basically the same as the model 1770 Gendarmerie except for the lock that is now of the new rounded pattern, instead of the 1763 flat lock type. It has a 5" tapered round barrel in .62 caliber. These are a perfect size for a large pocket or belt size pistol, at just over 9” overall. The lock plate measures 4" x 7/8". The throw of the cock is 1 3/16".
