1743 Marine Infantry Musket (796)

The Marine Fusil Ordinaire and Grenadiers adopted the three barrel bands and metal ramrod of the 1728 Infantry Muskets in 1741. The new muskets with the three bands are now called Fusil A Domino instead of Ordinaire or Grenadier. Basically, now the only difference between the Marine Muskets and the Standard Infantry Muskets is the 10" to 12" octagon section on the barrels of the Marine Muskets, also the butt and wrist areas are slightly smaller.
