1754 French Dragoon (716)
The French Dragoon is slightly smaller than the Infantry Musket. It has a 44 3/4" octagon to round barrel available in .69 caliber. It is brass mounted except for the middle band which is steel. A very striking piece that handles more like a fine flint fowling piece than a musket. The French Dragoon was a blend of infantry and cavalry because they fought on foot, but traveled on horse. The lock plate measures 6 1/8" x 1 3/16". The throw of the cock is 2".
