Hudson Valley Fowler Hardware (672)

These patterns were made by Fred Deagostino who has done an in-depth study of the design and construction techniques of these early fowlers. We have pictured the four different shapes and sizes of butt plates we offer above, along with the two most common styles in the trigger guards. Fred also says that our Series (552) lock is one of the most common found on these types of guns. If you are looking to build one of these early fowlers you can look to Ben Coogle or Ed Rayl for the barrels up to 70" in length.
