English Doglock Carbine (656)
This is an early English Blunderbuss Trade Gun. The barrel is a 24" flared, available from Ben Coogle. It uses brass sheet type hardware. Many Blunderbuss were made to trade with the Indian’s and Trappers in the early 1700’s The Lock plate measures 6" x 1 1/16". The throw of the cock is 1 1/2". This is the same size lock as used on many of the English Civil War Carbines.
