The Swedes used this standard pattern flat-faced lock on their muskets from the late 1908’s all the way to 1760’s. It is of very high quality for a military lock. The lock measures 6 3/4" x 1 1/4" and the 1747 uses the dog catch as shown. The 1738 does not have the dog catch. The throw size is 1 9/16".

We do not sell any original pieces on this web site only reproduction's of the original parts we have copied. If the item description does not say assembled then you are buying the castings of that particular item.
